The window to the left lists all the movie reviews written since I left my previous venue (so those of you who were with me before can catch up).
A little background for those of you who are new to my reviews--I try to give you enough information so that you can decide whether you are interested in this particular movie. I strive to never give away plot twists (I gave up reading movie reviews myself because this happened once too often). Of course, if a plot twist was a central point of the advertising, I may mention it.
You won't always be able to tell whether or not I liked a movie. I don't think whether I liked it is (or should be!) important to you. Since my tastes tend to be rather wide-ranging, I will sometimes include my husband Maurice's reactions for balance--he fits the "average viewer" profile better than I do. (For example, I usually like British period pieces, no matter how slow. If Maurice falls asleep, that usually indicates that the average viewer should avoid this movie. If he stays awake, it may be a general-interest movie.)
I update the review list each week by 6 pm (Houston time) on Monday.
