Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, starring Tom Cruise - Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) begins the movie deep undercover in a Russian prison. An IMF team breaks him out to help with info gathering on a trigger-happy nuclear madman codenamed Cobalt (Michael Nyqkvist). Instead, Cobalt blows up the Kremlim and frames Ethan's team for the bombing. The President orders the immediate shutdown of all IMF activities. Instead, Ethan's boss (Tom Wilkinson) gives him the assignment of disregarding the President's order and stopping Cobalt.
These days, the Mission Impossible movies are more like James Bond movies than today's James Bond movies are. This one is non-stop action, with just enough dialog to kind of tie the scenes together.
